In the words of Jesus in the "Parable of the Good Samaritan", who is showing the most compassion?  The foreigner that stopped to help...Every Christian should be behind our troops and the protection of the innocent!  Christians serve God through the mercy we extend to others...we do this by removing the evil that preys on the innocent...sometimes that removal takes the form of war.  There is such a thing as a "just war".  To blindly say you are against war (though nobody in their right mind wants war) is to play right into the hands of evil. 

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.

This is the main difference between liberals and conservatives...conservatives follow Lincoln...conservatives want the best for ALL the people and for government to stop controlling lives and get out of the way!

NOT fighting a "just war" brings on and in fact promises human tragedy!  We fought ourselves in our Civil War to end slavery; to America, war LIBERATES people, and to the dictators of the world, war enslaves people.  Pray for, and then defend and liberate the innocent.

COMMIT YOUR LIFE TO GOODNESS, HONOR, AND RESPECT FOR OTHERS BY NOT TURNING YOUR BACK ON MAN'S EVIL WAYS...STAND UP FOR RIGHT...ANY DEAD FISH CAN GO WITH THE FLOW OF THE STREAM.

Please pray & support our troops and their families...their sacrifice is what has made our country great!  They are working so that YOU can be free!  It is the elite liberal leadership that seems hell bent on taking away many of those freedoms!  Why is this?  Are you afraid to look deeper around you or just feed on the pabulum the major media outlets spew out?  First, feed on the Bible & pray to do the Lord's will...then if you don't stand up for peace & goodness, you allow evil to run and you will join those who are the indeed the problem.  A person standing for goodness and the rights of free men & women is NEVER the problem.

 

I love this country;  we have done GREAT things for the GOOD of the world and the less fortunate.

Many liberals seem to hate this country...why? ...because of a few mistakes?  Show me a person besides Jesus the Christ that claims to never have made a mistake, and I'll show you a dead person!  Oh, the air may be going in and out of their lungs, but they are NOT doing anything!

Liberals always think the least of people whereas, conservatives think people are capable of great things if the government would just leave them alone.

Only Jesus is perfect.  Jesus  Christ, the Messiah, you should make Him as Lord in your life!

The Country is on a Slippery Slope;  we are WAY OFF the genius of the Founding Fathers...America is quickly becoming a full Socialist Country (our young people don't even know how bad this is)...Pray for God to help us (the voters) and our leaders to make the right decisions for the good of America and for the good of the whole world!

MUSKRAT?

Thank you for visiting...I bet you are wondering what is the deal with the name "Muskrat", well I am Haven "Muskrat" Mankin.  I proudly received my nickname at Harding High School in Oklahoma City...it was a grand time in the sixties, great memories, muscle cars, Eagle football games & rock-n-roll.  We had cool guys like the "Flat Head", the "Master Harasser" and the awesome "Flying Horse"...who fought in Viet Nam, survived that only to get run over in L.A. by a crazy driver (which begs the question: which area was more dangerous?)  I will always remember you "Flying Horse" (aka Clyde Ficklin).  You know...I met my wife of 38 years at Harding...and even with my nickname...she married me anyway!  Yes, there is a God!

PLEASE KEEP PRAYING FOR OUR TROOPS AND THEIR FAMILIES

FRIENDS, THERE IS EVIL IN THE WORLD.  YOU CAN'T TALK EVIL OUT OF KILLING THE INNOCENT...TO HAVE PEACE IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF WAR BUT THE ABSENCE OF THREAT...PRAY FOR THE PROTECTION OF OUR TROOPS, AND PRAY THAT OUR POLITICIANS WAKE UP AND UNTIE THEIR HANDS.  THE USA HAS THE BEST MILITARY SOLELY OPERATING FOR THE GOOD OF THE WORLD, PLEASE, PLEASE, WAKE UP AND SUPPORT THESE MEN AND WOMEN AND THEIR FAMILIES.  THE WORLD NEEDS AND REQUIRES A FORCE FOR GOOD IN THE WORLD, TO FIGHT AGAINST THE EVIL THAT IS ALSO IN THIS WORLD.  IT IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE TO THINK OF OUR TROOPS AS EVIL; THEY ARE COMPASSIONATE FIGHTERS FOR GOODNESS IN THE WORLD...JUST LOOK AT THE PHOTOGRAPH OF A SOLDIER HOLDING AN INJURED CHILD HE DOESN'T KNOW IN A FOREIGN LAND (ABOVE)...JUST TELL ME YOU STILL DON'T SEE THE CARING COMPASSION.  THIS WAR IS NECESSARY DUE TO EVIL PEOPLE.  IT WAS FORCED ONTO THE USA AND IS NOT OUR FAULT.  WE SAVE THE INNOCENT AND FIGHT FOR PEACE...WE MUST REMOVE THE TREAT THAT EVIL CASTS DOWN UPON THE INNOCENT.
