Our Compassionate Fighters

Friends, there is evil in this world.  You can’t talk evil out of killing the innocent.  Many a misguided individual or group has tried discussions and passing resolutions only to fail, while evil actions continue to kill the innocent at alarming numbers.  In Iraq, for instance, the UN and the world waited 14 years and 17 resolutions while Saddam killed his countrymen at 60,000 each of those 14 years.  The same thing is going on right now in the Sudan.  To have peace is not the absence of war but the absence of threat!  Friends, you are probably going to sleep well tonight, but what about those innocent villagers caught up in some tribal war in Africa…how peaceful will they sleep tonight?

Please pray for the protection of our troops, and pray that our politicians wake up and untie their hands.  The United States of America has the best, most capable and most compassionate military, solely operating for the good, in the whole world!  Please, please, wake up and support these men and women and their families!  The world needs and requires a force for good in the world; to fight against the evil that is also in the world.  It is absolutely insane to think of our troops as evil as some misguided fools say they do.  Our troops are compassionate fighters, with some paying the full price for strangers in need of a helping hand.  Surely, you have seen the pictures of a soldier holding a baby, sheltering a woman or child, delivering supplies to the hungry innocents caught in the middle between USA goodness and some evil dictator’s selfish actions.  No one with any clear sight at all can tell me they don’t see the caring compassion from our troops!  War is sadly necessary due to evil people preying upon innocent people; no one with a conscious could possibly look the other way.  Jesus said, “As you do it for the least of these, you do it for Me”.  As you know, the sin of terrorism is particularly ugly because by definition it is against the innocent.  This current effort in the fight against terror is much bigger than the World Trade Center.  The USA fights not for another’s land, not for another’s oil or gold, but for the innocent and for peace!  We must do something about evil’s existence, or we’ll be a contributor to evil’s growth.  Pray for our leaders, our troops and their families…the world needs us to win!  The world depends on us to win!  Amen.
